This program was made possible by the Church-Wide
Initiative instituted during the 12th All-American Council of the Orthodox
Church in America, held in July 1999. The initial three-year grant to
start FOCUS Curriculum (which was in the brainstorming and preliminary
planning stages for several years prior to the Council) began in January
2000 and expired at the end of December 2002, pending the 13th All American
Council.
The
production of the pilot study program on the themes of Holy Week has been
largely accomplished through efforts of volunteers. However, further development
(and continuing revision and completion) of this and future programs will
require far more in terms of human and financial resources. Your assistance,
both in terms of financial support and contribution of time and talents
of those equipped to assist in content development and training will be
